Mario Kart's not really a good example of what you're saying since it's really just focused on a couple of rounds or one round and you can turn it off. Either way, I'm thinking there will be cross saves and all that and suspend/resume on the handheld. That is a non issue.

Eh it was the first thing that came to mind. Also those tiny 3DS screens hurt my eyes after too long, but my TV size doesn't bother me with Wii U

I'm not hating on handhelds I like them but those I play for limited amounts of time compared to consoles. The last 3DS game I played that I didn't put down was A Link Between Worlds, but honestly almost every 3DS game last year I couldn't put down
