Reminds me of Metroid Prime Trilogy. Saw a copy going for $109 yesterday... without the collector's tin. Yawns all around when it released.

It all seems quite hipsterish to me. It's cool to love Dreamcast and Gamecube and now Wii U because nobody liked them.

Sort of the corollary of the phrase, "Nobody goes there anymore. It's too crowded."

You're right about the hipster thing. Dreamcast was great, but PS2 had the "cool kids" by the balls. In the end, products, no matter how great, can't compete with the popularity effect.
