They need to drop the tablet and cut the price as soon as possible. And create a Wii-U Sports HD bundle targeted at mass market Wii owners and Girls.

It takes some time and effort to make existing games and software capable of running without the oversized tablet but it is well worth the effort if the system can receive a 100$ price cut. Nintendo needs to act now, even if it is almost too late. A mass-market Wii-U Sports HD Bundle should have been there from day 1 instad of Nintendoland and the tablet should have been much lighter and smaller, so it is time to redesign or drop it.

Thank god you're not running the company then.

Because it's not a tablet. Go look up a pic of an iPad. THAT is a tablet.

And while the initial sales boost from MK8 wasn't as big immediately as some thought (or hoped), the game will have major legs, and it will also help with a prolonged boost in system sales over time. They need to continue advertising it more, and get more copies of that MK bundle out into the wild. But this "doom" talk is still fairly ridiculous.
