The PS4 is clearly selling perfectly well.

And the Xbox One should have launched maybe a 2-3 months earlier, with stronger Kinect support to avoid another embarrassing U-turn.


If the Wii U released a year earlier then the technology inside of it would cost a years worth more making them either lose more money on every console sold (which they've already admitted to sabataging the original wii sales in order to wait until it was profitable) or have a higher price than $300-350, which is already too high for most consumers.

The PS4 is $400...

Sony fans are used to ps4 being expensive just like Apple fans are used to their stuff being expensive. Nintendo fans are used to Nintendo stuff being cheap. That's the problem with having higher priced Nintendo console (even if it is still lower than the competition). It's all about what the individual product fanbase is used to; nothing else matters.
