They should make an ambitious 2D 4 player Sonic that has identical mechanics to the old games, and new content. No fucking homing attack, bring back the insta-shield. That's the only thing that can save Sonic now.

That's exactly what I thought. With all the great sountracks the Sonic franchise has (even Sonic 06, SONIC 06 has a great sountrack. Hell, I like Sonic R soundtrack) they have to resort to dubstep to seem more "cool". The ad was embarassing.

The only 3D Sonic games that have mediocre soundtracks are Shadow the Hedgehog and those damn Storybook games!
