Brasil Sales Rankings - May 2014

First, i just want to say that i checekd the rank every week, but the month just suddendly changed from march to may again!!, without any mention to february. There is a chance that they updated the games, but not the month, i don't checekd if was in fact any change on the ranking besides on the month. In either case, i lost the april data, so this site as well. Blame VEJA magazine! Now i have to ask them every month if they are not forgetting something...

In the wake of brazillian market as the fourth country in the world in gaming market, and fifth in consoles alone(take that, random europe first world country), it's time to start track down this sales. The data is from GFK brasil, and is publish monthly by veja magazine. They only give us the ranks, not actuall sales off each game(like in UK), and monthly, not weekly. They realease some notes too, but i not this month, appeareantly. The numbers were around here for some time, but i tried to get a declaration from gfk about the official launch of PS4, X1 and WiiU, but so far nothing. So, don't expect them to start traciking next-gen for now. The numbers:

So, nothing really surprising this time. World cup game selling well. Wacth dogs maybe is the most interisting, since was debuted in 2 days prior the end of the month, but still grabed a good position. But, i'm pretty sure the embargo was breaked around here.

More about wacthdogs, but coming from ubisoft: 600K copies were sold in latin america on the first month, but 56% alone were in Brazil. Another data: 137k from the total of copies sold in brazil was for PS4 and X1. PC grabbed 11% of the sales(its 33% cheaper on PC around here).

Another point: yeah, GTA V was in the ranking 2 times. I email them again, but i'm pretty sure they will only do anything tomorrow, so, stay tunned.

On wii side, zumba core is new, and pokepark is really showing legs. And i'm pretty sure that is the first time where skyward sword were above twiligth.
