I think it's safe to say the original Bayonetta won't be bigger than the max size of a dual layer DVD. You know the disc the 360 version used.

I just worry that, as Ataraxias suggested, the new costumes, items, animations, sound effects, and potentially less compressed assets or reused ones for better disc seek times could combine to make it bigger than the 360 release.

Maybe, but if they're going to do B1 digital only outside of Japan, they have some pressure on them from Nintendo to compress as much as they can. Just my thoughts, but it seems Nintendo really wants to make sure their games aren't too big in data size (to make more people buy digital), when I think of MK8 and even more with 3D World. Again, just my thoughts.

I hope you're right. It's just that even Tropical Freeze by Nintendo was like 11GB, and Wonderful 101, which they offered for the MK8 free download deal, was 10GB.
