I think the WiiU will continue to enjoy stable/steady growth.
There is a respectably large market for 2nd consoles down the line, and they can grab a lot of players that either went PS4 or XB1 first, as it makes a TON more sense to combine the U with either of those than to buy both.
But regardless, most Sony/MS fans will buy their preferred 8g console first, then be open to a 2nd later on.
I expect the U pricing to reach $199 before too terribly long, and with Smash/Zelda/etc coming through, the U will attract far more people than many expect.
