Hold up? Is that an explanation for all the characters from different games coming together here? People opening portals all over the timeline? The game could possibly be canon then!
But Aouma already said it's about as canon with the main series games as the Avengers comic is to other Marvel comics. Which means it's pretty ambiguous and probably best to not think about too much. Oh well.
