PSS: In informal speaking, or is often used as a way of saying both. I already gave you one example, but here is another (remember, this is informal...): "Did you take out the dog and do the dishes?" "I didn't take out the dog or do the dishes..." This would generally be regarded as saying that both of those things were not done. If you still can't wrap your head around it, try reading the word "or" with extra emphasis...It is a lot easier to hear that way. However, when typing you cant convey tone, so it may be easy to miss someones intent. Therefore there was some miscomunication between you and Tbone-sama...(why are we talking about this?) PSSS: I seeee...well then good sir, I fear you are misrepresenting yourself. You give off quite a strong "anti-Wii U" vibe, and I have trouble reading that any other way. Perhaps you could try not being a negative nancy... that may help out your image a bit. PSSSS: I hope you (and tbone) understand that this is all good natured ribbing and idle discussion. I'm not actually coming at you with vitriol, just killing time... |
LOL! I wasn't asked to affirm or deny anything. There was no question. The response denies the direct question which is why it is used with or. Your analogy falls flat.
PSSS: I would argue I give off a strong anti Nintendo fan vibe. Unless we are to say bringing out Wii U flaws (such as it going to drop after MK8 and its under 10k in Japan) is considered anti Wii U
