Many expectations on here were simply unrealistic and relying upon some sort of imagined pent up demand for the XBO with nothing but the $499 MSRP holding back consumers.
What happened in reality comes as no surprise given that the new SKU arrived with no major software title or features to create a significant jump in sales.
The $399 SKU is as MS would put it: an additional choice for the consumer based upon consumer feedback. Not everyone wants Kinect.
Still curious to see how the sales trend over the next couple weeks, but I expect nothing unusual.
