Looking at their library of games, they have absolutely nothing of value. They are not a salvageable company.
Making RE more marketable (shootery) didn't work, they just got called Gears clones. Lost Planet is dead. Dead Rising 3 only exists because MS needed a launch game.
Their only option is to downsize, and resort to those crappy monster catching games.
