Fixed. This right here is correct though. Each and every Playstation console at launch has a very limited amount of exclusives for a good two or three years. The PSP is the only exception, because even though it had a lot of ports, it also had a lot of third party exclusives(some of those were ports but Japanese only PC releases so still new to us.) I state this time and time again, but Sony's got this complacent attitude in which they feel everyone is going to just support them, publisher and gamer alike. Nintendo has no problem releasing several games at launch side by side with many 3DS games as well. Between the amount of titles moneyhatted and Nintendo's own releases there's 19 Wii U titles released in the first 1.11 years. Compare that to the PS4 which will have six exclusives by the end of 1.11 years. If Sony doesn't want people to complain about them having no games, they need to either have a reasonable amount of exclusives the first year(I'd say atleast 10 or more,) and if they can't do that, do what other publishers do and pay for third parties to develop a few exclusives. |
But that is what exactly happens... I cant think of a single PS3 game that went undernoticed, even Beyond and Allstars went on to do fair enough business. If anything, I expect Sony to produce exclusive after exclusive with all the fans and first party support they have accumulated over three whole generations.
