Heck no, you'd only see them put that much stock in revisions on previously established franchises such as Metriod with Metriod Prime and Kid Icarus with Kid Icarus: Uprising, or potential money making spin offs. Brand new IPs per Nintendo tradition have to earn their keep before be given massive budgets to play with.
Heck, even previous blockbusters like Wii Sports, Brain Training and Nintendogs got budget sequels, why would they do something on scale of Zelda or a console Mario game for a new IP?
