Of the designs they were pitching around, they gave a very promising proposal to NVidia and Intel about designing the CPU & GPU for a machine with a custom Titan Black and 4th Gen i7, which would be used in a multimedia device with non-proprietary BD drive, HDD or SSD, with a focus on multitasking the system with a wii u controller(or the next gen counterpart). The last part os pretty much stating their goal is to have the system be able to play a game on the controller while the TV plays netflix, hulu, etc. similar to the snap feature on XB1 but with seperate screens, and includes the ability to play 2 different games (however, I honestly think this will be limited to Virtual Console games or Wii/Wii U games if the system is BC). Also I have to stress all this stuff is in the proposal phase and i would expect to see prototypes behind closed doors until 2016, so the big N to release its console until 2018/2019. |
