Nintendo won't ever win. I think the last system before Wii that sold was the SNES. 3rd Party support hurt N64, and gamecube. But quite frankly if you own a Nintendo it's not because of 3rd party games, it's for the 1st party games. As long as Nintendo stays profitable, they don't have to be the leader.
