First thing would be to not try and "win" based on gaming community criteria.
They need to focus on what they're good at. Making fun, surprising games centered around functional design.
Then they need to make people aware of the existance of these games. The E3 treehouse was a great move, but they could still do with more presence.
They need new boxes and presentational material for the Wii U, to properly explain what it's all about, why it's fun, and why you really should get one if you had a Wii, and even if you didn't.
