Moreover, the transitions between dungeons and plot points are much more interesting in MM. I find the beginning of OOT (prior to Adult Link) to be such a chore due to the dialogue, interruptions, backtracking. Also, the story in MM is much more unique, emotional, and creative than OOT (a bland story. Could have been much more). I actually feel something with the characters in MM due to their reactions to the near-doomed world. I also enjoy the music in MM much more. It has a sinister and creative feel to it. The moving songs (Astral Observatory, Song of Healing) are better, too. I grew up with OOT, but it has been surpassed (see above) |
