I think the main gaming core is established in either the MS or Sony camp and Nintendo cannot do anything(including making games better than the Sony/MS regulars) to change that.

The only way they can win is find something that captures pop cultures eye, like the Wii did. Even a console in that situation would suffer the same fate as Wii and move consoles but not a ton of 3rd party software. Wii U is not doing poorly because of lack of 3rd party support, its because the core gaming group has a mostly unwavering loyalty to one brand or another that is not Nintendo.

and whose fault is that? and to be fair Ninty has their loyal fanbase it just might not be as big as the other two's
