I honestly found Generations boring at best, annoying at worst. It was better than anything than came out in its generation (lol), but SA2 was better imo because the whole 2.5 D thing seems like a cop out. Its not 3D sonic, Adventure was the best 3D sonic, they just needed to make it faster and less linear. The 3D sections in generations were good, but they were extremely linear because you couldn't even control the camera.
