The only problems with calling him Cell shaded link or Wind Waker link is that HE'S NOT.
He's NOT cell shaded, he just has the same body proportions as what you see in Windwaker, so Toon Link is pretty much the most accurate name you can get.
Personally, I like calling him NES Link, since that's the only outfit I'll use him with. I feel seriously old school when I'm playing that way.
