It's dominating right now but that's with a halo less Xbox (winter is coming) and it isn't even dominating Wii u now due to mk8 and Nintendo has the biggest megatons for the rest of the year and arguably 2015 so far so ps4 won't keep up this pace due to those two alone. Also the steamboxes will probably do somewhat of a dent as well. On top of this the 3ds has no competition for the handheld market. I'm sure Sony is done making handhelds now because of the vitas failure. I also believe the 3ds, like the ds before it, will continue to sell a lot after it's successor has been released thanks to reduced prices on it. |
Lol, yeah the 3DS isn't competing with smartphones/tablets at all and the Wii U has 1 megaton left for the year, SSB, seriously some people get so ridiculous after one week of good sales.
