Part? Some are 100% Polish :P

Łukasz Podolski born in Gliwice (Poland) of Polish parents, his favourite club is Górnik Zabrze (he wants to finish his carrier there), he even had his wedding in Poland :P He's not hiding that the only reason he's playing for Germany is because the Polish Football Federation wasn't interested in him playing for our team - and he wanted to play for us :( Idiots.

Mirosław Marian Klose, born in Opole (Poland), his mother was in the Polish Female National Handball Team and played 82 games for us, his father was a Polish football player :P

Piotr Trochowski was born in Tczew (obviously Poland as well ;) ), his name says it all.

Thankfully we have been much better recently at securing our talents for ourselves and even managed to win over a player (Sebastian Boenisch), who is of Polish origin but was playing for Germany's U-18 I believe.

1. none of them is 100% Polish or else they couldn't play for another country
2. The region they were born used to be part of Germany
3. They have German ancestors (Podolski's grandparents, Trochowski's grandparents, Klose's father)
4. They were raised in Germany (Podolski and Trochowski more than Klose)
5. All of them starting playing football in Germany
