Making a console that focuses more on the easy to get into games, hard to master then get the full experience with your friends locally a game which will get you playing years to come without DLC, is better than 

Making a console that focuses more on the easy to get into tutorials, play to watch cutscenes and then get online so you wouldn't feel cheated with spending full price on crappy movie wannabe.
