I loved the first game, it was rough, it was cheesy and technically had problems (PS3 stuttering) - but it had the potential to be an awesome game and the first area was just great.
Personally I am really excited for the next game and with a better group of programmers behind it, new hardware to put it on, I'm day 1.
I think some people are still sore about the whole serious video thing and how it didn't represent the game, they just need to get over it. :)
