Being exclusive doesn't mean anything. It didn't help Zack and Wiki or Dead Space: Extraction on the Wii and they were both great games. The only games that sell really good that are exclusive are Nintendo "franchise" games. Bayonetta 2 doesn't attract Nintendo fans and Bayonetta didn't make millions of fans. The best to you. You seem to really want it to reach that million mark. I will never say never for you sake.
I am glad that Nintendo was so bold to pick a mature title but I think it would have been wiser to make a new mature IP instead of publishing a sequel to one that didn't sold well. A sequel that Sega didn't want to have anything to do with because of poor sales.
