The Wonderful 101 has done over 200K easily. VGC doesn't take digital sales into account.
Plus The Wonderful 101 was a new IP too.
Bayonetta 2 is from an established franchise and has received a good amount of hype since it was first announced.
Your sales expectation is way off mate, it will do over 1m in lifetime sales without a problem.
