I was saying that before this gen: the US isn't a reliable market. EU has much more brand loyalty, they stayed two gens with Sega and three with Sony. US stayed one with Ninty, started the next with Sega and changed to Nintendo mid-gen, two with Sony and one with MS. The US market goes for the cheapest and most hyped box. Sony started with the cheapest box and got all the hype. MS fixed the price issue, but the X1 got an avalanche of bad PR since the beginning and after that it became know simply as a console that would play all multiplats worse than PS4.

Post of the thread!!!

You couldn't be more true. The US market is very fickle. They really just go with whatever is either the cheapest, most hyped or a decent combination of both. Anyone looking at sales of a platform in the US in one gen as an indication as to why it will dominate sales the next.... will be in for a very very very big surprise.
