Giant robo and project guard were two of the worst games shown at e3, and what little they've revealed about star fox doesn't leave me feeling optimistic. Project guard looks to be the better of the bunch but at the same time nothing special, there's just too many tower defense games out in the wild right now and nothing about it seems unique or particularly interesting. Giant robo, I mean it looks like the only way you could extract fun from that demo were if you were one drink away from alcohol poisoning and had recently suffered major head trauma, just horrendous, probably worst in show and reminded me of the sony sixaxis garbage of years past; worse it seems star fox may be following in the same vein by controlling the ship by maneuvering the gamepad.
Whether Miyamoto should retire or not I don't care, it's up to him. These games seem to have been designed to be five to ten dollar virtual console games or part of some offbeat collection, which is all right I guess.
