Sony had way more gameplay and exclusive focused:

Uncharted 4
Little big planet 3
The order
Blood borne (GAme of the show imo)
No mans sky
Grim Fandango
TLOU remaster
MAgicka 2

All exclusive.

Only the first four games are actual big deals IMO. Grim Fandango is a remake of a cult classic likely coming to other platforms, TLOU was available last year (and is trumped by the Halo Collection), etc. Furthermore, none of them, with the possible exception of Uncharted, are "Top Tier" series the same way Gran Turimso would have been.

Microsoft, meanwhile, showed off Forza, Crackdown, Fable, Spark, and Sunset Overdrive.

I'd say the two were roughly equal in terms of their consoles' showings. The thing is, the ball was in Sony's court to pre-emptively win the rest of the generation, something that they failed to monopolize on. Say what you want about Bloodbourne, it's probably not going to sell very many PS4's. As things stand, the Xbone and PS4 now have the same price, similar libraries, and similar scaled lists of upcoming releases. Not to mention that if the Wii U has a great showing today, Sony could be in a three-way competition again.
