I'd might argue that A Link to the Past has an overall more Zelda-format story, but if you make some analogies, their stories are pretty similar as well. A Link to the Past will always have a place in my heart as the best Zelda game, but that is mostly because of nostalgia. To all new players, I'd definitely recommend A Link Between Worlds over it. It has everything A Link to the Past had, but it's overall more polished and more acessible for a new player. |
It doesn't jump into the game like Link to the Past does. Right from the get-go on Link to the Past, you basically have everything you need to kill everything, and go everywhere.
