The funny thing about these kind of threads is, that after a while every game in the series in question is mentioned
.
Anyway personally I think Ocarina is the best game ever made, so if you didn't like it there's little point in me explaining my suggestions because they're geared towards that game's style naturally.
That said, I will say that if you didn't respond to the dungeons in Ocarina of Time, there's a major chance you aren't going to like any of the other 3D games' dungeons either. Every 3D game afterwards got it's blueprints from Ocarina. People say games like Wind Waker and Skyward Sword are different, which is true in the overworld and some game-mechanics, but once you enter a dungeon they might as well all be in the same game. The only real differences are the items and their usage.
The only fundamentally different games are the 2D games, their dungeons follow their own rules. While Spirit Tracks is 2.5D, it's gameplay style is like a 2D game in the series. If you did like that style, odds are a 2D game fits better for you. Most are on Wii's Virtual Console, and on 3DS's too.
I really don't understand the love for Minish Cap on this site, it's easily one of the worst, so if I may break my own rule and suggest a game; I'd say Link's Awakening. it's brilliant, and to me by far the best 2D game putting it's 'big' SNES brother to shame. Otherwise I agree with those saying A Link Between Worlds is a good substitute, for if you want a new game (LA is 21 years old after all).
