Alright, well, to be honest, there are different types of Zelda fans. Some like me love all the Zelda games, some only like 2D, some only 3D, and some are partial to certain art styles. For others, it depends on the level of linearity. Based on what you've said in the OP, I'm going to say either A Link to the Past or A Link Between Worlds would be a good start for you. Don't worry about pirating A Link to the Past, it's not like Nintendo is losing any money since they aren't selling it anywhere, to my knowledge. If you didn't like OOT, that's...surprising, but it's not everyone's favorite. If you're looking for a 3D Zelda and that one didn't work for you, I'd say (assuming you have a Wii) go for Skyward Sword. Twilight Princess is good, but a lot of people felt it was a lot like OOT, but not as good. It's still worth a shot though, if you don't like Skyward Sword. I personally loved it.
If you want me to give you a better recommendation, I need to know your preferences for the following:
1. 3D vs. 2D
2. Retro vs. Modern
3. Linearity vs. Openness
4. How difficult you like your games
5. What sort of art style you find appealing
6. Your opinion on motion controls
