Wind Waker (GC version on Wii since you don't have a Wii U).
If that doesn't work, A Link to the Past through Wii Virtual Console, or the GBA version (if you can find it) on your DS. If you don't feel like tracking down a GBA cartridge (I wouldn't blame you) and you're afraid that a SNES game would look absolutely stupid on your TV (they look godawful on my 42"), Oracle of Seasons or Oracle of Ages on the 3DS Virtual Console and Link Between Worlds on 3DS are acceptable substitutes.
If that also doesn't work, just stop. Zelda doesn't click with everyone.
