Wii U isn't do so well at the moment and also has the highest proportion of 3rd party sales of any Nintendo console, that surely shows 3rd parties are needed for more success. The Vita is also very interesting. People are always complaining about lack of 1st party support on the Vita yet it is the Sony console with the highest proportion of 1st party sales. |
I think that mainly has to do with limited third party support, rather than good first party support.
