I'm hardcore Nintendo. But I don't even care that much about Mario. I don't buy all of series games. Mario Kart, I also skipped GBA, GC, and Wii. So I easily bought the Wii U for MK8. Since the series to me is now completly fresh. While I bought NSMW DS, and got my share of the other games style then. I take seveal year breaks between series. To not get bored with the core concept.
Even though. I finally got a Wii U. I still don't use the gamepad as primary controls. I only use it when I don't want to use my TV. Or if I'm on the toilet. Normally I will only use my Wii remote. It's still a waste. With all other functions that don't involve off TV play. Even the TV remote function is half assed. IF you add both cable and TV it doens't have a second number pad for the TV. And Tvii is a freaking joke. It takes so god damn long to load. I think I'm on 56k again. Makign it useless.
