Polygon: As Nintendo grows desperate, the chances your dreams will come true increase

I'd be OK with a partnership with Sony where Nintendo could still make some hardware (specifically handhelds), but not some kind of situation where Nintendo becomes some subservient no-name third party like Sega or even like an Activision or something (bleh).
