That includes the original AC, which presumably would have spurred on a lot of sales because it was released at a similar time in a console's life cycle. Going from what I've read of the UK, PS4 sales nearly doubled, but by comparison Mario Kart 8 saw Wii U sales increase nearly sevenfold. I think more of the Watch_Dogs sales would have been PS4/XO owners who were really jonesing for something new to play. The game appears to be good enough to draw in new gamers a bit, but I don't think PS4 or XO have that must-own killer app yet. |
Why are you only looking at sales for individual platforms?
