It should outsell NSMBU which sits at 4mil and still growing. I think the lowestis 5.5mil (gba), if WiiU sells at least 14mil lifetime, mk8 should be about 6mil sold imo.

Isn't that proving tbone51's point? If Mario Kart 8 sells roughly 6 million copies, that is less than every single Mario Kart game except for Mario Kart: Super Circuit on the Game Boy Advance (as you've pointed out).

(Not approving of Polygon's incorrect forecast, but using it to show lifetime sales of previous Mario Kart games)

Apart from that, Nintendo should be celebrating!
