It doesn't seem to be the kind of title that would appease Sonic fans - speed is relegated to the background.

People keep saying that it looks like Ratchet/Jak, and it does (a little) except without the characters & storylines of those two games and without the crazy guns that keep Ratchet fun.  Instead, brawler melee combat that reminds me a bit of Knack.

 

The 3DS version looked good, at least.

WiiU is definitely up in the ai and is of a different  type of game (meaning not a true sonic). Im 50/50 on it now. Looks cool, but need to see more.

3DS version is definitely looking good. Keeping most of sonic's roots with new play elements. I think 3DS version is a guarantee, WiiU dont dissapoint :-/
