How will you prove that when Nintendo have had poor 3rd party support since the early 90's? There are no numbers you can present that will show that good 3rd support would not have improved hardware lifetime sales for the N64, Gamecube and Wii U. It is not merely coincidence that Nintendo started on their downward slope sales-wise when 3rd parties started fleeing their platform(s). There were other factors as well, but 3rd parties abandoning ship is likely a very big part of the explanation. I guess you could pull the Wii card and refer to the high lifetime sales despite poor 3rd party support but I think you will find that the Wii was an anomaly among Nintendo's six home consoles and sold mostly due to fantastic demographic aim (which also caused the rapid decline), and besides; how will you prove in retrospect that the Wii wouldn't have had any benefit from improved 3rd party relations as well?
