Nothing wrong with a company getting money from either MS or Sony... not sure why Insomniac are getting grief over that. I am personally not a fan of their games, but if you really like their stuff so much you buy the console its on.
As for going to get money off Sony or MS... well lets be realistic here, if its a decision to make a game for a publisher or go bust or make loads of staff redundant, I have no doubt I would be straight at MS/Sony's door asking for a deal. Anyone who gives them hassle is frankly an idiot.
