| NiKKoM said: There was a glaring fault in the story.. if Mystique was captured in 1973 and she had brain tissue, bone stuff etc all extracted by Trask how the heck did she appeared in X1, 2, 3? Anyway OK movie.. I found the movie super non geek unfriendly.. X-men 3 was 8! years ago.. trying to remember what happend there and with the First Class movie was asking a lot.. the future part was pretty underdeveloped and cared nothing about the future X-men.. I actually found it extremly funny that they died not once but twice.. snapping Colosus in half.. Quicksilver was amazing but he was so underused.. If they just brought him to paris the story would have been over in the first 45 minutes.. Cap A still the best Super Hero movie this year |
thank you, that was bugging me the whole time, glad someone else noticed it as well.
also the thing is X1 X2 and X3 including Orgin did happen and that was the reason Wolverine was sent back to alter that time line which in effect takes out the striker arc and puts Mystique in it, so those movies did happen but now they are in different dimension. And in this new dimension, where everyone is alive only wolverine and Professor knew what happened which also ties up the wolverines remembering everything as he had lost his memory at the end of orgins.
TBH as great as First Class was, that movie messed up the xmen timeline which previous movie had going up untill Orgins.. how can ema frost be a teen in orgins and a grown up adult in First class when First class happened before the events of Orgins, which basically throws off other characters in previous movie especially Scott
And also In Orgins it was mentioned that Logan and Sabertooth spent a century or so figthing wars including vietnam war which happened around the same time as DOFP..
I dont know which movie screwed up the timeline the most FC or orgins.. if we ignore one of this movies every other movie in the series makes sense
