Can Japan Save Yoshi's New Island?

I'm sure everyone knows Yoshi's New Island for 3DS isn't selling too hot. In America and Europe combined, it has only sold 0.38m and has been out for 2 months plus. The reason I bring this up is because I think Japan can save it. Look at Mario Party Island Tour. It bombed in the US and Europe but sold really well once it reached Japan. And Kirby Triple Deluxe too. It sold in Japan first and went strong but America and Europe not so much. Hopefully the holiday will increase all these games sales too.
