I did. My reasoning behind it was that the majority of those that bought into the Wii were non gamers who bought the console for the motion controls, played Wii Sports a few times, then maybe once a month or when friends came over from then on. That the Wii U is a tablet like gimmick instead, but an expensive toy that they'll only play for a few days like the Wii, then is left to gather dust in a closet.
I thought the Wii U would be less than half of the Wii userbase, no actual prediction. After six months when someone asked, my prediction was 18m lifetime.
