GameCube says otherwise...
But I do use my Wii u for multiplats, and currently there aren't any games that are only playable elsewhere that I'm remotely fussed about.
Plus, after doing achievements all last gen, the first time I played a Nintendo game (after a couple of years without) it felt liberating to play how I wanted to rather than how some achievement told me I had to. It's a lot more fun to just play the game.
