Could OR/AS sell more FW than XY?

Edit: Im not saying it wont do 10mil+, but thats as likely  as XY doing 17mil - 18mil now imo

If it does that bad compared to Fire Red and Leaf Green then it's definitely not performing well. I would say 9 Million should be the minimum, the maximum should be 11. However, Pokémon has failed me already this generation with X/Y so I'm not expecting it to perform as it should.
