Have you skipped the word sw (software)? X360 is first and ps3 is catching to Wii on sw total.

We will see there both ps3 and xbox 360 total sales.

Do you know what is SOFTWARE??? GAMES... I'm not talking about console LTD numbers (which a lot of people suspect that PS3 is overtracked and X360 undertracked), I'm talking about SW...

PS2 sold 160M consoles but about 1.5Billion SW.  Just checked and Wii is barely in front (not discounting almost 100M WiiSports and the like that were bundled).

Wii 918.4M Software on a 100M platform, X360 889.5M on a 81M platform and PS3 825.7M on a 83M base... altough X360 won't pass Wii on HW it certainly will on SW. PS3 may in like 10 years pass Wii on HW but it will quite possible to pass it on SW, but harder to pass X360 because their SW sales ratio is closer than their HW.

Wii won't probably cross 950M, and X360 and PS3 could get to 1B.
