Ps3 is not on track to pass Wii sales.

The Wii sold over 100 million copies.

The ps3 sold about 82-83.

And the xbox 360 less then that. about 81.5 million copies.

Ps3  or xbox 360 might eventually reach 85 million. that's it.

That's far from 100 milion.

Have you skipped the word sw (software)? X360 is first and ps3 is catching to Wii on sw total.
