It's unfortunate... The real question is who we should blame. Normally I'd say Nintendo because of their bizarrely limited and restrictive online and storage practices, but in this case it's quite likely to be Harmonix doing a rush port of the PS2 version instead of giving the Wii game proper attention.
I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.
